Funcom has joined ESAC as its newest associate member. Funcom’s Canadian studio is based in Montreal and it currently employs 30 people. Established in Oslo, Norway in 1993, Funcom has a long history as leader in the Massively Multiplayer Online Game segment.
“We’re excited to have Funcom, a global leader in the MMO sphere join ESAC,” said Jayson Hilchie, President & CEO of ESAC. “MMOs have increasingly dominated the video game industry, and their membership only serves to diversify our growing membership.”

Funcom’s Montreal studio has worked on some of the company’s best-selling titles including Anarchy Online, Age of Conan, The Secret World, Fashion Week Live and work for hire projects for LEGO.
