Nintendo

As part of their commitment to keeping Nintendo games, online services and events safe, friendly, welcoming and fun for all, Nintendo has established a clear set of Community Guidelines that outline the expectations for players when engaging with Nintendo products, services or events. Nintendo utilizes various approaches when enforcing its policies, and takes actions to hold players accountable for actions that do not uphold its values. Nintendo works through various channels to make users of its services aware of these expectations and help promote respectful and welcoming engagement.

Nintendo offers a free Nintendo Switch™ Parental Controls smart device app that allows users to manage parental controls settings for their Nintendo Switch console from their mobile devices.

When enabled, parental controls for the Nintendo Switch system can prevent children from making purchases on their system or from the Nintendo website as well as set time limits for how long or how late the system can be used. Nintendo Switch parental controls also provide parents with the ability to restrict online communication with others, restrict games based on ESRB rating and to restrict viewing of content on the Nintendo eShop, among other things.
