Entertainment Software Association of Canada Welcomes Cloud Imperium Games Montréal to Its Membership

Toronto, ON – October 21, 2025 – The Entertainment Software Association of Canada (ESAC) is pleased to announce that Cloud Imperium Games Montréal has joined the association as its newest member. The studio exemplifies Québec’s creativity and talent while further contributing to Canada’s position as a global leader in interactive entertainment.

Cloud Imperium Games Montréal is a key contributor to Cloud Imperium’s global network of AAA studios. The team is contributing to the development of Star Citizen, a groundbreaking multiplayer space simulation, while also helping finalize Squadron 42, a highly anticipated single-player game featuring a world-class cast. The Montréal studio works closely with Turbulent—a local company acquired by Cloud Imperium in 2023—on community engagement and ecommerce operations.
